September 1-30
September is here, and with it comes a special opportunity to make a significant impact across our state through the Margaret Lackey State Missions Offering. This offering is the primary funding stream for numerous key mission efforts throughout Mississippi, including:

– Garaywa Camp and Conference Center
– Central Hills Retreat
– Missions Volunteers
– Church Multiplication
– Community Ministry
– Disaster Relief
– Criminal Justice Ministries
– Collegiate Outreach
– Christian Women’s/Men’s Job Corps
– Cross-Cultural Evangelism
– Language/Deaf Ministry
– Port Ministry

Your contribution to the Margaret Lackey Offering, often referred throughout Mississippi as the Cooperative Program’s “little sister,” adds immense value to what Mississippi Baptists are doing together in missions, church leadership training, and compassionate evangelism. By giving, you’re helping to fulfill the Great Commission as outlined in Acts 1:8. Your support enables Mississippi Baptists to reach people across Mississippi with the love and message of Jesus Christ. To give, visit www.broadmoor.org/give and select “Margaret Lackey” as the fund of choice. Donations are accepted throughout September. Thank you for considering this opportunity to support missions right here in Mississippi. Together, we can make a lasting difference for the good of our communities and beyond.

Join us for these 4 equipping sessions as we create conversations that will help us be more intentional about our workplace platform. Sessions begin on September 10th and run for the following four Tuesday evenings. To register, visit https://broadmoor.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/2456449.

Broadmoor now offers two options for you to abide in God’s Word daily. The Bible Reading Plan that many use daily will shift to a focus on the book of John as Pastor Josh leads us through these foundational truths each Sunday in his sermon series. If you are not already signed up to receive texts, you can text “WORD” to 32373.

As the Broadmoor family concludes the one-year goal of reading God’s Word with their family in their home, we are offering a daily family devotional based on the content that many in our Nextgen areas are using weekly. This is a great opportunity to begin or continue reading the Bible as a family. If you would like to sign up for this plan, text “Family” to 32373.

There are two great options for the united family of faith as we strive to abide in Jesus and submit to God’s Word daily. If you are already signed up to receive the Bible Reading Plan texts, you do not have to do anything.
