A Broadmoor Discipleship Coach will take you on a journey through your story, your passions, your hobbies, your life experiences, and your spiritual gifting to help you see how God has designed you uniquely to serve.
Join A Serve Team
Upward Serve Team: Evaluation Team
Upward Evaluations are Oct. 17 & 18 from 6 – 9 pm & Oct. 19 from 9am – Noon. If you know basketball or don’t know anything about basketball we have a way you can help on these dates.
Upward Serve Team: Prayer Team
We Are looking for 100 people to commit to praying for 100 days for our Upward Basketball ministry to families. A prayer calendar will be sent out with specific things to pray for each day. You will also be given a specific team to pray for throughout the season.
Upward Serve Team: Coach
You can coach an Upward team. Specific training, weekly lesson plans, and devotions will be provided to coaches.
Mom to Mom Serve Team Member
Do you have a heart for moms because of your experience as a mother? This team helps set up, prepare food, clean up, and serve in a monthly ministry to Moms. Join in today and help make a difference mom to mom.
Single Moms Ministry Team Member
Support and encourage single moms in Broadmoor’s family of faith by being a part of this team. The needs and time requirements vary, but the relationships built and love shared is off the charts. Be a part of impacting another life today!
Bible Study Leader
Do you love to teach and have a heart for God’s Word? This position facilitates the teaching and discussion of Bible studies among women in Broadmoor. Times vary but are usually in a weekly routine for a season.
Women’s Ministry Meal Team Member
Everyone loves food, and some love to prepare it! This team provides snacks, light meals, and other food items for groups when needed. A love of cooking is probably a plus, but not a requirement. The need varies from time to time so many of the opportunities for this team are as needed.
Women’s Ministry Office Serve Team
Large mailings, phone calls, and other administrative tasks don’t just happen on their own! They need a team of dedicated folks to help get those tasks completed. If you like a routine schedule during the week and enjoy clerical tasks, let us know and we will plug you in!
Women’s Ministry Greeter
Help create a welcoming environment for those attending Women’s Ministry events! Greeters are serving in almost every Women’s Ministry event so there are plenty of opportunities to serve in this area.
Event Serve Team Member
Every event needs setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up. If you like the logistics of handling those items, this is the team for you! The time commitment is based on events.
First Point Team Member
Be a bridge builder to other ladies in the community from Broadmoor’s Women’s Ministry. The First Point Team aids in communication for the Women’s Ministry for specific events. This is a great way to serve if you are on the go or at home.
Social Media Team Member
Do you love being on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok as you scroll, share, and like? If so, the Women’s Ministry would love for you to help them share all the great things going on in the Women’s Ministry through their social media channels. The time commitment is flexible as you serve on a team of ladies committed to sharing the good news on social media.
Nursery Team Member
Love and care for those ages birth through three years old as they begin the foundational years of learning about God’s love and the world around them. There are opportunities at both the 9:30 and 10:45 hours on Sunday mornings to make an impact in a child’s life.
The Commitment Encourager
Be a part of creating a special moment for those families involved in The Commitment (formerly Parent/Child Dedication). Three times a year the Preschool Ministry takes parents through a dedication process as they commit to raising their children as the Bible instructs us to do. You can serve by greeting, passing out programs, and helping to answer questions.
Preschool Snack Coordinator
Help provide the most important item each Sunday morning in the Nursery, food! Preschool Snack Coordinators make sure classrooms are equipped with the correct snacks for all Babies through 3-year-old classrooms. Come serve in the best part of the Nursery!
Preschool Host
Are you a people person who loves to meet new folks and help them learn more about Broadmoor? Then you need to be a Preschool Ministry Host! These individuals are ready to greet guests, help them register children, walk them to their classroom, sign in families, and print name tags. You can serve on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings based on your availability.
Nursery Music Leader
Help little ones learn about Jesus through music! Nursery Music Leaders have an opportunity every Sunday morning during the 10:45 Life Group hour to share through simple songs God’s love for all His children. All music will be provided so all you have to do is love and lead.
Preschool Large Group Leader
Do you have a big personality that loves to share Jesus? Then you need to serve as a Large Group Leader in the Preschool Ministry! Help lead music, Bible stories, missions, and Bible memory verses on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings for Broadmoor’s K4 and K5 children. The Preschool Ministry will provide all the content and training so you can share Jesus with confidence for these little ones.
Preschool Life Group Leader
Love on Broadmoor’s K4 and K5 preschoolers and begin teaching them about Jesus. Preschool Life Group Leaders serve weekly or in a rotation in the Preschool Ministry during 10:45 Life Groups on Sunday morning and are the foundation formers for Broadmoor’s little ones to learn about God, the Bible, and Jesus.
Grade Level Coordinators
Do you like to invest in others? Grade Level Coordinators are individuals who invest in the teachers, who, in turn, invest in the kids. Weekly tasks include checking teachers in on Sundays, locating substitutes if needed, confirming rooms are staffed each Sunday, and equipping the teachers to be their best. Grade Level Coordinators make a one-year commitment to serve that runs on Sunday mornings from August to July.
Kids Music Teacher
We are looking for adults who love Jesus, love music, and love kids! Come help on Sunday mornings in KidTown and teach 1st through 5th graders Biblical principles through music. A basic understanding of music theory is necessary to serve in this role. Music Teachers make a one–year commitment on Sunday mornings from August to July.
Kids Snack Coordinator
Snack Coordinators are some of the most beloved adults in KidTown because they bring the food every Sunday! All items will be provided. Just bring a great attitude, a love for kids, and the ability to count out cookies and juice boxes! Snack Coordinators make a one-year commitment to serve Sunday mornings from August to July.
Kids Floor Leader
Greet guests and help families take their nest step while in KidTown! Floor Leaders help greet guests, get their information collected, and assist them in locating their rooms on Sunday mornings. Floor Leaders make a one-year commitment to serve that runs on Sunday mornings from August to July.
Discovery Leader
Wednesdays at Broadmoor for Kids are full of Discovery, and Discovery Leaders are a key part of it. Discovery Leaders are adults who desire to partner with parents to disciple their children to know Jesus and follow Him. They make a one-year commitment to serve that runs from August to May.
Kids Life Group Leader
Lead kids to love Jesus! Be a part of Broadmoor’s Kids Ministry to those in grades 1-5 by leading a Life Group and partnering with parents to disciple their children to know Jesus and follow Him. Life Group Leaders for Kids Ministry make a one year commitment to serve that runs from August – July.
Serve Team Coach
Do you have a heart for high school students and a passion for leading others to serve? A Serve Team Coach may be the perfect opportunity for you! This role leads and teaches high school students to serve once a month on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Activities vary, but a one-year commitment is needed from August – July for Wednesday evenings or Sunday mornings.
Thrive Leader
Wednesdays at Broadmoor in High School Ministry are some of the best, and you can be a part of this exciting time! Thrive Leaders help with all sorts of activities related to the High School Ministry’s event, Thrive, which meets on Wednesday nights. Depending on the week, they may be setting up, greeting, helping high school students, or just hanging out. Leaders make a one-year commitment that runs August-May.
High School Host
Be a friendly face and an information source for students and parents involved in High School Ministry. Host greet, share the vision and strategy of High School Ministry, and help direct the next steps for both students and their parents. Hosts make a one-year commitment that runs August-July.
High School Life Group Leader
Serve high school students by discipling them in a small group. High School Life Group Leaders disciple a group of 8-12 students around a table weekly to practice the disciplines of Bible engagement, Scripture memory, accountability, and prayer. Life Group Leaders make a one year commitment that runs August-July.
Team Leader
Do you have a love for short–term missions and showing others what the Great Commission is all about? If so, consider serving as Missions Ministry team leader for a local, North American, or international missions team. Men’s Small Group Leader
Be a guy who helps create deeper relationships, biblically challenging conversations, transparency, confession, and accountability with other men. Men’s Small Group Leaders prepare and lead a weekly group experience with group members to shepherd them well.
Men’s Ministry Cooking Team
Are you a guy that likes to cook? The Men’s Ministry Cooking Team handles cooking for men’s ministry events and assists with other cooking requests as needed. If you know your way around a grill or a kitchen, this is the serve team for you!
Around the Table Table Host
Broadmoor hosts periodic men’s gatherings called Around the Table that allow men to share a meal and spend some time in conversation. An Around the Table Table Host leads the discussion at the table and gives everyone the opportunity to participate.
Men’s Ministry Greeter
Are you an outgoing guy who loves to shake hands and make others feel welcome? Men’s Ministry Greeters look for opportunities to engage men in conversation and provide a friendly face to answer any questions guys may have.
Life Group Greeter
Be the guide for an individual or family to get connected to a Life Group. The Life Group Greeter is stationed at the Connect Center to take first-time guests to Life Group locations.
Life Group Small Group Leader
Prepare and lead a weekly group experience that creates deeper relationships, biblically challenging conversations, transparency, confession, and accountability. They meet regularly with group members to shepherd them well.
Life Group Facilitator/Teacher
Be the lead shepherd for a group, knowing where the group is spiritually, and help them take the next steps in their journey with Jesus. Life Group Leaders prepare faithfully to teach/facilitate the weekly lesson for the group and realize this role goes beyond teaching a weekly lesson and will require their attention to other needs and opportunities to meet with group members regularly.
Baptism Team
Assist individuals being baptized and the families supporting them.
Connect Center Team
Be the person in the know by assisting others with information and directions while on campus.
Usher
Greet people when they enter the Worship Center, help them locate seats, and assist in handing out items for worship and special events.
Greeting Team
Be the first face of Broadmoor people encounter as you greet those who enter Broadmoor on Sundays, Wednesdays, and special events.
Parking Team
Assist in traffic management on campus during Sundays, Wednesdays, and special events.
Driver
Drive shuttles and golf carts around Broadmoor’s campus to move people to and from their cars to the buildings on campus.
Marriage Mentors
Get trained and supported together with your spouse to facilitate marriage groups or mentor couples using the Prepare-Enrich Inventory.
