Ministry Updates
Bible Reading Plan
Broadmoor offers two options for you to abide in God’s Word daily. The Bible Reading Plan that many use daily will shift to a focus on the book of John as Pastor Josh leads us through these foundational truths each Sunday in his sermon series. To sign up for that plan, text WORD to 32373.
As the Broadmoor family concludes the one-year goal focusing on reading God’s Word with their family in their home, we are offering a daily family devotional based on the content that many in our Nextgen areas are using weekly. This is a great opportunity to begin or to continue reading the Bible as a family. For daily updates from the Family Reading Plan, text FAMILY to 32373.

We don’t want them to lean on their own knowledge or power. If they do, it will constantly fail them. We want them to rely on the knowledge and power of the Holy Spirit so that in life, they will THRIVE.

The Move is our milestone event for 8th-grade students moving up to High School. We will spend the afternoon fellowshipping with one another at the home of church members, Joe and DeAnne Hegi. Students can swim, kayak, shoot basketball and spend the afternoon together. Students should get dropped off at the church at 2:00 PM. We will take church vans down the road to Joe and DeAnne’s house for the afternoon fellowship portion of the day. Be sure to bring swim wear, a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. We will arrive back at the church around 5:00 PM. We ask that parents meet us back at the church at 5:00 PM for the chance to hear from our High School ministry team about what they can expect from High School ministry at Broadmoor. While parents are doing this, our students will have the chance to hear from some of our High School Serve Team leaders about how to stay strong in their faith during the High School years. We will then end the night with a dinner for parents and students as we pray over our 8th graders and this next chapter of their life.
