NextGen Ministry COVID-19 Update

Our goal of partnering with you in discipling preschoolers, children, and students has NOT changed! In fact, these past weeks have only further encouraged your staff members to engage even more!

While the mission is the same, as things continue to unfold concerning COVID-19, we are adjusting our strategy. As always you can contact any of your ministry staff with specific questions.

Thank you for being patient and flexible. Please continue to use the family tools in the Discipleship Resources page AND share stories of your family following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and joining Him in His mission of making disciples!

  • We are excited to reopen the Greenhouse, beginning Sunday, September 13 for babies - 3 year olds in our 9am service.  We will have a limited number of rooms open, and reservations will be required.

  • WOW WEEK (June 1- 5) is going to be different this year!
We are moving WOW WEEK into your homes! Your staff and the WOW Week Leadership Team Members are super excited about what the Lord is going to do through WOW WEEK with this change. Here are a few details:
    • Each family will have a box, somewhat similar to our Passion Kits, that will allow families to do WOW WEEK together.
    • This box will contain everything that our children would normally experience at WOW WEEK- worship rally, music, Bible study, recreation, missions/crafts, and some fun snack ideas.
    • These boxes will equip you to continue having Gospel conversations in your home.
    • This is a great opportunity for your middle school and high school students to help lead their younger siblings!
    • Because we are a church committed to joining Jesus on His mission to make disciples, we are going to ask you to connect your neighbor with this opportunity too.
    • Visit this site for updates as details are finalized in the coming weeks.
  • Camp in the City has been canceled.  For more information, click HERE.

Parenting is not easy. But you don't have to do it alone!

Broadmoor's NextGen Ministry is here to partner with you as you disciple your children, from the moment they are born until you launch them into adulthood.

In Deuteronomy 6:6–9, God commands parents to be the primary disciple-maker in their homes.

"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."

This passage makes it clear that God's intent is for parents to teach their children about God and His ways. Our NextGen ministry team wants to walk alongside you in the journey of discipline your children.

As your partner, we are committed to;

  • Equipping you with resources that will help you live out Deuteronomy 6 in your family
  • Providing experiences for your child that will help them follow Jesus, be changed by Jesus, and join Jesus in His mission to make disciples
  • Serving as your partner in ministry

Jeremiah 29:11 reads "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." He has a plan and a future for your child, and we are honored to be a small part of that.
