Community Fest

October 2 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Come join the Broadmoor family as we worship and serve together on October 2 at Crawford Farms Blvd and Liberty Park! We have a fun day planned for all ages.

All are invited to Worship at 9:30am on the main stage. Be sure to bring a friend!
Lunch & Serve will follow worship with a meal provided by Broadmoor. This will be a time for you and your family to join in helping the rest of the Broadmoor family set up to welcome everyone to Community Fest.

Community Fest will be from 26pm. There will be live music, games, inflatables, food trucks, and more! No costumes, please. Our food vendors include Rolling Beans, Kona Ice, Chillin on the Rez, Small Time Street Eats, Poppy’s Pies, and BBQ Shine.

Music lineup is:

2:00-3:00pm: Hannah Belle
3:00-4:00pm: JC & The Family Band
4:00-5:00pm: Chalmers Davis and Scott Albert Johnson
5:00-6:00pm: RJ & The Good Time Band

We will also have a dunking booth featuring Madison teachers, locals and a certain lead pastor. Dunking is free but donations are encouraged as all money raised will go to the Shelter Initiative. If you’d like to donate now, click HERE.

FAQ’s

Where do I park? Parking will be available at Hobby Lobby and Rosa Scott School via Crawford Farms Blvd. Shuttle stops will be located in both parking lots for your convenience. Parking will also be available at the soccer fields at Liberty Park via Grandview Blvd. A drop-off and pick-up zone will be available for those needing special assistance between the roundabout and Rosa Scott School along Poore’s Pass. Shuttles. We encourage senior adults to park at the soccer fields at Liberty Park and ride the golf carts that will be canvasing the parking lot. All Broadmoor staff, Deacons, and their families are encouraged to park along the backside of Rosa Scott School via Crawford Street and walk around Rosa Scott to catch the shuttle.

Do I need to bring a folding chair? We plan to have chairs available at the main stage for Worship and throughout the day. We recommend bringing a folding chair to ensure we have enough seats for everyone. You can also use your chair for lunch as you gather together to eat and spend time with the Broadmoor family.

Can we setup a tent? If you would like to set up a tent for your group, there will be designated locations south of the food tent to set up on a first-come, first-served basis. All tents must be set up between Saturday at 6 PM and Sunday at 8:30 AM. Security will be onsite overnight.

What is for lunch? We are excited to gather the Broadmoor family for lunch at Liberty Park. We will serve pulled pork, baked beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw, chicken tenders from Cane’s, hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, and banana pudding or brownies with whipped topping for dessert while supplies last. That is why you need to text LUNCH to 32373 to reserve a meal for you and all of your family members.

Is there an allergy-friendly option? Due to the variety of food choices, we hope you will find something on the list of foods above that will accommodate any allergies one may have. If you have specific questions about any of the menu options, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at info@broadmoor.org.

Do you need volunteers for Community Fest? We can always use another helping hand! If you are in a LifeGroup at Broadmoor, we recommend that you contact your leaders to see if the group is volunteering together. Otherwise, anyone can volunteer by clicking here to sign up.

What types of games and activities will be available? All games and activities will be arranged into three age-appropriate midways. Preschoolers can play games and enjoy a bounce house with other children their age. Kids can enjoy games, a giant slide, a ninja challenge course, a bungee run, and much more! Students in Middle and High School can take their shot at Spider Mountain, the mechanical bull, monster obstacle course, or take part in dunking some of their teachers, coaches, administrators, and maybe a pastor in the dunk tank!

What does it cost? The event is free, and all rides and games are free, but donations will be accepted at the dunk tank to benefit Broadmoor’s Shelter Initiative. You may also want to have a few dollars available to enjoy some of the various eats and treats from the food trucks.
