Grow Your Faith

Believing in Jesus

We believe He came to die for all our sins… sins that none of us can pay for.
The curse of Adam from the beginning of time was too great a burden for our humanity to bear. So God made a way to allow our human, sinful souls to enjoy His presence directly. He did this through Jesus’ arrival on earth in human form and ultimate death on the cross and resurrection three days later.
The story of Jesus is a love story from God to you.
The question is: Do you believe it? If so, will you receive it?
Accepting Christ as your Savior from sin is your first step in a lifelong journey to walk peacefully with God.
The process is simple yet profound. All you need to do is talk to God, admit your sin, and accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord. This acceptance is the most important decision you can make in your life, and we’d love to be a part of your journey.

Believers Baptism

Baptism is your opportunity to publicly share that you’ve trusted Jesus Christ with your life. It’s visible evidence of your faith in God and His promises. When you’re ready to make a public commitment to follow Jesus, let us know and we’ll help you take your next step. Baptism by immersion is a requirement to become a member of Broadmoor.

Uniting with a Faith Family

Broadmoor is a united family of faith and we would love for you to join our family! Because we believe there are responsibilities each member shoulders to be a part of a church, we want to take the time for you to know us, understand the process, and allow us to learn your story and connect you the best way possible. Our membership process is made up of a few steps listed below. We hope you find this helpful, but if you have any questions along the way, please reach out to Harvey Ellis, Broadmoor’s Connections Pastor, to help guide you in your next step. Thanks again for considering joining the Broadmoor faith family.

Steps to Membership at Broadmoor

Step 1: Complete the faith family form below and email it to us or bring it with you to church. This form officially begins the process of membership at Broadmoor.

Step 2: Attend a Foundations class. These classes are critical for you to understand more about Broadmoor and why we do what we do. These classes are led by our Connections Pastor, Harvey Ellis, and are held during the 10:45am Life Group hour once a month. These hour long classes are fun and informational. If you have filled out the faith family form and turned it in, fill out the form below and let us know when you’d like to come to Foundations so we can save a seat for you!

Foundations Interest Form

Step 3: We want to know you and be known by you. The next step is a membership interview with one of our ministerial staff members to help you and us be able to get to know each other one-on-one. These interviews are more like conversations discussing your faith journey, answering questions about what we believe as a church, and helping to make connections to better get you involved in your new family of faith. Once the first two steps have been completed, a minister will reach out to you to setup a time to chat.

Step 4: Our ministerial team will meet and your minister will share your story and discuss the ways we as a ministerial team can best serve you and your family. Once that is completed, you will receive a contact from your minister welcoming you to the Broadmoor family!
