Encounter

Encounter is our joint Middle School and High School ministry event. Encounter is all about bringing our 6th through 12th grade students together, with an emphasis on inviting their lost friends to come to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel message so that they may have an encounter with Jesus. Our theme for Encounter in August is Tailgating. Football season is back, great food, everyone loves a good tailgate! We want this first Encounter to capitalize on the wave of momentum of school starting back, football being back and a big turnout for our first Encounter.

It will be on August 27th from 6:15 to 7:30 starting in the ROC. We will have burgers, drinks, tailgate games and more! We will follow up by moving upstairs for a time of worship and a lesson, geared towards presenting the gospel. Our prayer and desire is that students would always treat Encounter as an opportunity to invite someone to come along with them to church! We have seen lives changed and great conversations happen through nights of Encounter.
