Cultivating Connections

Creating Spaces to Live Out Our Mission

Our Vision

At Broadmoor, we believe that meaningful connections are at the heart of our faith journey. Connections with God through Jesus Christ, with each other, and with our community shape who we are as followers of Christ and our impact for the Kingdom. Cultivating Connections is our commitment to creating spaces throughout our campus that foster these life-changing relationships.

Since we moved to Madison, our facilities have served as the backdrop for countless moments of spiritual growth, community building, and transformation. Now, we’re embarking on a journey to renew these spaces—not just with fresh paint and updated furnishings, but with intentional design that encourages conversation, accessibility, and belonging for everyone who walks through our doors.

A Two Phase Approach

Cultivating Connections represents a comprehensive renewal of our campus, implemented in two strategic phases to minimize disruption while maximizing impact.

Phase 1: Foundation for Connection

Investment: Approximately $1.2 Million

The first phase focuses on our most utilized community spaces—the areas where first impressions are made and where many of our relationships begin:

  • First floor renewal including corridors, gathering spaces, and common areas
  • ADA-compliant check-in kiosks to ensure accessibility for all
  • Enhanced Nursery playground creating safe, engaging environments for our youngest attendees
  • Reimagined Connect Center designed for meaningful first time conversations
  • Revitalized Atrium and Coffee Area encouraging fellowship and community
  • Updated meeting spaces, including L221, the Gold Room, and the 3rd Floor Faith lobby
  • Refreshed Venue spaces with new flooring, paint, and perimeter improvements

Phase 2: Expanding Our Welcome

Investment: Approximately $2 Million

Building on the foundation of Phase 1, our second phase will address all remaining campus spaces:

  • Complete campus-wide flooring and paint renewal
  • Modernized restrooms throughout the facilities
  • Rethinking gathering spaces to be designed for various ministry needs
  • Enhanced accessibility features throughout the campus where needed
The Nursery Playground: Where Learning Begins

Our children are not just the future of our church—they’re active participants in our community today. The renovated playground will provide:

  • Age-appropriate play equipment that encourages development and imagination
  • Safe, durable surfaces designed for active play
  • Shaded areas for comfort in all seasons
The Connect Center: A Welcoming Stop for Community

The redesigned Connect Center will serve as a hub for relationship building and ministry connection:

  • Comfortable seating arranged for conversation
  • Dedicated spaces for newcomers to learn about Broadmoor
  • Resources to help everyone find their place in our faith family
The Atrium & Coffee Area: Where Conversations Flourish

Our renewed Atrium and Coffee Bar area will provide the perfect setting for those impromptu conversations that often become the highlight of our day:

  • Varied seating options for different types of interactions
  • Improved flow to encourage mingling before and after services
  • Warm, inviting aesthetics that make everyone feel at home
  • A central gathering place that embodies our commitment to hospitality
