What is Upward?
One of the Sports Ministry's most exciting opportunities for children is Upward Basketball and Cheerleading for boys and girls K5 – 5th Grade. There are separate leagues for boys and girls. Upward's mission is to introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports. This ministry offers basketball and cheerleading for boys and girls ages K5 through 5th grade.
Upward 2018 - 2019 Season
Registration is now open for our 2018-19 season. Register by October 10 for $105, includes uniform and end of season award.
Everyone must attend a basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation to be held at Broadmoor. Siblings may attend basketball evaluations on the same night regardless of grade.
- Basketball Evaluations for Boys/Girls in 4th & 5th Grades: Thursday, October 25, come anytime between 6-8PM
- Basketball Evaluations for Boys/Girls in K5 & 1st Grades: Monday, October 29, come anytime between 6-8PM
- Basketball Evaluations for Boys/Girls in 2nd & 3rd Grades: Tuesday, October 30, come anytime between 6-8PM
- Cheer Orientation for K5-5th Graders: Date & Time TBA
