Hey parents!
September is an exciting month in our Preschool Ministry! As we settle into the fall semester, our preschoolers are learning that no matter what changes around us, God never changes. Through Bible stories, worship, and time together each week, we want our kids to begin building their lives on the truth that God is faithful, powerful, and trustworthy.
We also have some special opportunities this month for our preschoolers to lead in worship and for parents to learn more about how we can partner together in discipling the next generation!
Special Dates
NextGen Worship: September 20
We are excited for our 4K and 5K students to help lead our church in worship on Sunday, September 20! Our Wednesday night preschoolers are working hard to learn two songs and will join our Kids Ministry at the beginning of the service. To help your child prepare, play these songs at home (check your email for the Preschool Spotify link!) and be sure to attend on Wednesday nights—especially Wednesday, September 16, when we will practice together.
NextGen Discipleship Overview: September 23
The Preschool and Kids Ministries will host a NextGen Parent Discipleship Overview in the Chapel on September 23. We look forward to sharing the work we have done this year to streamline and strengthen our discipleship strategy. We will also introduce parents to the new Brite curriculum and share practical ways you can continue discipling your children at home. Our prayer is to continue strengthening the partnership between the church and the home.
The Commitment: Registration is Open Now!
Registration begins today for our next Commitment Milestone, with the dedication taking place during worship on Sunday, November 8. This date also falls on Orphan Care Sunday, which is especially meaningful as adoption and foster care are part of several participating families’ journeys. More information and registration details will be coming soon!

What’s Happening in Life Groups?
This year, our entire Kids and Preschool Ministry — from infants through 5th grade — will be learning through the new Brite Curriculum. Every age group studies the same Bible story each week, so your family can keep the conversation going at home. Each month includes a Big Idea, a Memory Verse, and a Big Question, and we’ll reinforce the verse on Sundays and Wednesdays through songs and motions, helping children hide God’s Word in their hearts.
August Big Idea: God is unchanging.
Memory Verse: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8
Big Question: Does God ever change? — No!
September 6 — Jacob’s Dream (Genesis 27–28)
September 13 — Joseph and His Brothers (Genesis 37)
September 20 — The Burning Bush (Exodus 3)
September 27 — The Wilderness (Exodus 13–17:6)
