Everything we do points to Broadmoor’s mission statement to develop students who follow Jesus, are being changed by Jesus, and joining Him in His mission to make disciples.

Student’s are placed in small groups with 2 adults per 12 students with discussion on Scripture and topic taught during Thrive – our Wednesday night High School worship.
Students meet together as a grade to have discussion on the Scripture and topics taught during Thrive – our Wednesday night High School worship - in preparation for the potential difficulties they may face in college. Seniors also meet on Sunday nights in the home of Steve and Melinda Hendrix for small group discussion on these topics.
Thrive is our student worship experience that happens on Wednesday night during the fall and spring semesters on the third floor of the Faith Building. The word thrive comes from the New International Version translation of the Bible where in Proverbs 11:28 it says, “Those who trust in their riches will fail, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.” Additionally, Webster’s Dictionary defines the word as “to grow vigorously; flourish”. That is how we want our student’s relationship with Jesus to grow. During Thrive, our students will participate in engaging worship, fun games, and relevant teaching of God’s Word.
During the fall and spring semesters, we have randomly scheduled Wednesday nights called Encounter where our Middle School and High School students meet together for connecting fellowship, a whole lot of fun, and an awesome time of worship. The goal of Encounter is to do just that, encounter our Savior Jesus and to encounter others who are following Him. These nights are extremely evangelistic in nature. We want our students to invite their friends to come have a lot of fun and hear the Gospel presented to them clearly.
The purpose of Student Worship Arts is to equip and empower students to be lead worshippers through a focus on growing in faith, skill and leadership.
*All teams will meet from 4:30-5:00 in the Choir Room
