DESCRIPTION:WHO: High School upperclassmen (Juniors and Seniors) and adult volunteers.\n\nWHAT: Broadmoor partners with Encounter Church\, a growing group of friends and neighbors from Westwood\, Dedham\, and surrounding communities who have two things in common: a love for God and a passion to serve their community. Led by Pastor Chris Causey\, Encounter Church exists to be a catalyst for encounters with Christ that lead to life change. Team members will have rental vehicles with designated adult drivers to get to and from the church. The team may also get passes for public transit to travel throughout the city to nearby places. If you register by February 14\, you will receive an Early Bird price of $75. After that date\, the price goes to $100. If you want to register for DAY ONLY\, the amount is $50.  \nHousing is twin bunk style\, and on the registration page\, you can choose a pal or two to room with you. This weekend will mark the culmination of Broadmoor’s NextGen milestones\, providing a meaningful experience for both students and parents. \nWe invite you and your graduate to join us from Saturday\, May 3\, through Monday\, May 5\, for a series of events that will honor their achievements and prepare them for their next chapter. \nSaturday\, May 3 | 4:30PM | Cultivate\nGraduates and their parents will gather outside the Venue for a light reception followed by a time of discipleship and equipping as we: \n\nProvide a space for parents and students to reflect on the past and discuss the future.\nCelebrate each graduate’s accomplishments.\nEmphasize the importance of community.\nIntroduce families to Broadmoor’s College Ministry.\n\nOur time together will conclude at 6:00 PM\, and we encourage you to continue the conversation over dinner at a location of your choice. This could be at home\, a family member’s house\, or a restaurant. You may also use this time to present your student with a meaningful gift or invite significant people in their life to join in celebrating them. \nAfter Spring Break\, you will receive two packets in the mail: \n\nOne for parents—containing discussion questions to be shared with your student during the event.\nOne for students—designed to help them reflect on key moments to discuss with you.\n\nTo ensure a meaningful experience\, we ask that both parents and students keep their discussion questions private until the event on May 3. \nSunday\, May 4 | 9:00AM | Commission\nGraduates will gather for a group picture before being recognized during our 9:30AM worship service.
