SUMMARY:MBCM Disaster Relief Training
DESCRIPTION:Members of Broadmoor who are interested in partnering with Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief (MBDR) to help others after a disaster strikes must be trained and credentialed through MBDR. Training sessions will be conducted on Friday\, July 19 and Saturday\, July 20. The cost for each participant is $25\, which includes lunch and a background check. The fee must be paid by cash or check at registration. See below for the schedule. All training sessions will be in the Venue. SUMMARY:The Move
DESCRIPTION:The Move is our Middle School Milestone event for 8th graders moving up to 9th grade. We spend the afternoon together fellowshipping and swimming at Joe and DeAnne Hegi’s house. We return to the church where our 8th graders get to hear from a panel of high school students and they get to ask them questions about high school and how to stay strong in their faith in a new school environment. Meanwhile\, our High School staff gets to meet with the parents and give them a preview of what high school ministry looks like at Broadmoor. We finish the night off with a dinner where students and parents sit together and parents get to pray over their student as they enter this new season. Register HERE!
