DESCRIPTION:We hope you’ll join us for the Poured Out & Be Refreshed Conference on January 26 & 27. We will welcome Tommye Hammel as she speaks about following the thread of the Holy Spirit through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. This thread will culminate with an in-depth study of God’s Covenant. Tommye has been teaching inductive Bible study since the 1980’s. She has been to Israel more than twenty times and taught several study classes there. Before retiring\, Tommye wrote for Precept International and was a seminar leader. She is a very talented teacher and gifted guide for others to discover the Truths of God’s Word. Tommye will be helping us get a clear Biblical perspective of events from Genesis to Revelation and putting God’s Word in chronological order. \nThe conference begins at 6pm on Friday\, January 26\, and on Saturday\, January 27 at 9am. DESCRIPTION:Serve Day is an opportunity for our Middle School and High School Ministries to “Join Jesus on His mission for the glory of God and the good of our communities.”  Students will spread across the metro area and serve alongside Broadmoor’s local mission partners. \nStudents need to arrive at the church at 8:30am on Saturday\, April 20.  They will be dismissed from Broadmoor at 1:00pm after lunch and a debrief of the morning. DESCRIPTION:This is a class for parents and children and in this class\, we will help kids and parents understand where they are on their journey to follow Jesus and what their next steps may be. We will help your child answer questions like\, “what is a Christian”\, “what does it mean to follow Jesus”\, and “what do I do as a Christian.” We will also give parents some tools to use as you continue to disciple your children along the way. This class will also help you be prepared for a follow up meeting with a minister on Broadmoor’s staff. If your child has made a decision or is interested in being baptized this is your next step!!
