Tim Moak came to the Broadmoor Music and Worship Team from First
Baptist Church of Richland, Mississippi. As the Minister of
Music/Worship at Richland, Tim had responsibility for every facet
of the music for the church.
Tim has also served at several churches as a bivocational minister of music.
While teaching occupied the major vocational component of his life,
Tim's bivocational assignments have included ministry at First Baptist
Church in Flora, First Baptist Church in Byram, Heuck's Retreat Baptist
Church in Brookhaven, and First Baptist Church in Rolling Fork. He has
served in full time capacities at Cleary Baptist Church in Florence,
Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Columbus, and First Baptist Church in
Richland.
Tim and his wife Mary have two children, Morgan and Mason.
A native of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, Tim holds both bachelor and
graduate degrees from Mississippi College.

MICHAEL BOWEN

Michael grew up in Southaven, MS, attending SBEC, a Christian school, from 5th grade through high school and where he accepted the Lord as his Savior during that time. During his time there, he was able to grow in his faith through many experiences that he was given the privilege of taking part in and the spiritual mentors that he had around him. It was there that he found a love for the church and its ministry, but was not sure if it had any role in a future calling.
After graduating high school, his academic pursuits led him to Mississippi College (MC) for an undergraduate degree in communications with an emphasis in media while working with a college performing group called the Naturals. Between both of those activities, he found his love for not only media production but also live production which are both active roles that he participates in on a daily basis. He also found a passion for media in the church, and through a series of “God moments” was led through a number of positions at different employment opportunities to his position at Broadmoor in May 2007. Seeing his calling come to a realization and knowing that when the Lord sets a passion in your life He will see it through, though it may not be immediate, is what makes him so excited about being in his role at Broadmoor today.
Michael is married to the former Krista Crone and they have two wonderful sons. In his spare time, Michael likes to play golf, read, and play with any type of technology he can get his hands on. Some of his books he loves are the Bible, anything by Lee Strobel, and John Grisham novels. His music library covers a wide range of genres, but he likes most Contemporary Christian music. Some of the scriptures that Michael likes to focus on are Philippians 1:6, 1 Samuel 12:24, and Isaiah 40:28-29.
