When Jesus lived on this earth He ministered to all people. He healed the demon possessed, the lame and the blind. He spoke in public to the outcasts of society. Everyone deserved His love and attention. At Broadmoor we want to minister to all people, never excluding anyone from the opportunity to experience God's love.
In an effort to begin a special needs ministry here at Broadmoor, a small group of individuals have been busy researching our possibilities. In November 2002, our church began hosting Friday Night Friends, which is a special needs kid's night out. Through this ministry, we are bringing hope, love, support, and a much-needed evening of relief for the parents and caretakers of special needs children. We also offer Sunday morning and evening classes and activities for these children.
Friday Night Friends is an opportunity for children with special needs (no age limit) and their siblings (through 5th grade) to have fun together in an exciting environment. A snack and drink will be provided for all attendees and their siblings. Please see below for information on our next Friday Night Friends!
Saddle up for some good ole fashion country western fun. They'll be dancing, singing, and more. So put on hour boots and warm up your vocal chords and come join us for Friday Night Friends
