It's All About Time.
Starting in August 2017, the evening Equipping Schedule is shifting from Sundays to Wednesdays in order to maximize our time together and create experiences for the entire family. This change will position us to have deeper levels of community with those around us.
While more details will be announced, here are a few helpful Frequently Asked Questions:
What can I expect?
- Quality time around the table with family and friends.
- A healthy dinner that tastes great for a reasonable price.
- Equipping experiences for preschoolers, children, and students.
- Opportunities for adults to participate in small groups or equipping classes.
What experiences will my family have on Wednesday evenings?
Preschool (Birth through K5)
Preschoolers will engage in Bible stories, worship, missions, and of course - a little recreation to help burn off some of their last bit of energy for the day.
Children (Grades 1-5)
Children will participate in THE GAME, where they spend time developing Bible skills, preparing for upcoming opportunities to lead worship, and enjoying hands-on mission opportunities. There will also be large group times of worship and devotion. And of course, we’ll end our nights with one of our wild and wacky games!
Students (Middle School - Grades 6-8 • High School - Grades 9-12)
Middle School Students will continue to participate in Waypoint while our High School Students will continue participating in Prime. Both of these experiences are designed to equip students through meaningful worship experiences and small group talks.
No matter what season of life you’re in, we’ll have a variety of Equipping Classes that are designed to be relevant for you. Whether you are a parent of a preschooler, or an empty nester, our aim is to have an equipping class that meets your needs. Beyond Equipping Classes, adults will be able to connect to a small group for more in-depth, relational discipleship or even join the Worship Arts Ministry Team.

What about Sunday evenings?
We want to live life together and fully engage our neighborhoods and surrounding community with the Gospel. Sunday evenings are a great time for families and Life Groups to share more relaxed time together. A few key Sunday nights will be set aside for large, churchwide gatherings. These nights will be family-friendly and community-based. One of Broadmoor’s most anticipated events each year, and a great example of what our Sunday night events will be like this fall, is Fun Fest.
Broadmoor’s Student Worship Equipping program will continue to meet on Sunday evenings throughout the fall. These Equipping times will coordinate with our Sunday night events schedule.
