Advent

Broadmoor's Advent celebration begins December 3. Check back here for a weekly guide that you and your household can use throughout the season.

Join the Broadmoor family as we celebrate Advent beginning Sunday, December 3.

What is Advent? The Advent season includes the four Sundays leading up to Christmas and begins this year on Sunday, December 3. It’s a time of expectancy and preparation for the celebration of Jesus’ birth.

How do I join Advent at Broadmoor? If you are already a part of our Bible Reading Plan text, you will begin to receive the passages for each day through a daily text. If you want to be a part of the Bible Reading Plan, text BIBLE to 32373. You can also find weekly Advent Guides by clicking the button below.

There will also be printed weekly guides in the Advent stations around campus for you to pick up and follow along if you prefer.

Regardless of how you join in, get involved with Advent at Broadmoor this year. Don’t forget to share your journey with us on social media by tagging @mybroadmoor and using the hashtag #christmasatbroadmoor.

Giving Generously

Many folks are looking for opportunities to give this Christmas season. If that is you, we encourage you to give to one of these areas this year as you give generously.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (LMCO) goes directly to missionaries serving around the world through the International Mission Board (IMB). These funds help offset ministry needs that regular funding do not cover.

Year End Giving
Did you know that over 15% of Broadmoor’s giving towards the ministry budget of the church comes in December? This month when many of you are reflecting on the many ways God has blessed you and pondering financial goals for the upcoming year, consider giving to the ministry budget of Broadmoor as part of living generously. Click on the button above to give online, or you can drop off a check on Sunday mornings or during church office hours. Remember that all gifts must be dropped in the dropbox at the church (located in the first floor Faith hallway), put in the worship offering taken on Sunday mornings, or postmarked by December 31st to count towards 2023 contributions.
